Thank you for visiting this page.
In 1984, I stumbled upon a creativity I didn't know I possessed. My starting block in becoming a nature artist, pen and ink gave me an avenue to release mixed emotions I sometimes felt I could not control. These emotions, blended with a passion for wildlife and the outdoors, offered me the best ingredients to build a foundation as an artist. Self taught, this allowed me to exercise my own abilities and limitations using trial and error as my guide. I spent ten years honing my pen and ink skill until pointillism became my pen's final resting place.
Although it's rare for me to draw these days, my love of nature is greater than ever and is expressed through other methods of artistry. It’s been a wonderful journey portraying wildlife with the pen and an even greater pleaseure discovering the different paths of creativity I'm able to unleash from within.
I invite you to take the time to investigate this site’s different selections as my journey continues...

I learned a valuable lesson during the creation of this piece. My technical pen splattered on the original drawing board while I was trying to shake the new ink cartridge into operation. The stump in front of the moose contains most of the ink spots. You’ll find a couple of dragon flies born of the splatter too.

Since Freedom of Flight IV I focused my attention on creating several more art cards. It was about this time my application of pointillism was about to change canvasses. I’ve created only two images on antlers. Only large moose antler titled The Rut displayed two moose. The cow was on the brow tine and the bull on the paddle, both images done completely in pointillism. It was because of this project my style of art turned to antler carving.
